DESCRIPTION:Everyone's favorite on-screen married couple team up again in "After the Thin Man\," the second in the MGM comedy-mystery series starring William Powell and Myrna Loy.  The 1936 classic film screens at the Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport on Tuesday\, March 8\, at 1:00 and 6:00 pm.     Powell is perfectly cast as the brilliant\, but somewhat shady\, alcoholic who trades witty quips with his socialite wife\, played to perfection by Loy. "After the Thin Man" boasts two things the original lacks a much more engaging caper and a first-rate performance by a very young Jimmy Stewart.     The movie is sponsored by local film enthusiast\, Michael D. Lorenzini.  It is unrated with run time of 1 hour 53 minutes.  Entry to the film is by donation.
