DESCRIPTION:Chili & Salsa Cook Off May 21\, 2016\n\n\n\nThe Middletown Area Town Hall & the Middletown Senior Center will be holding the 2nd annual Middletown Square Chili and Salsa Cook Off at the Middletown Community Rooms /Library/ Senior Center /Middletown Square Park 21256 Washington Street Middletown\, Ca.\n\n\n\nThe park and building are visible from Ca Highway 29.\n\n\n\nContestants will arrive for registration and set up between 8:30-9:30 am.\n\n\n\nThe judging will begin at 2:00 pm.\n\n\n\nThe awards ceremony takes place at 4:00 pm.\n\n\n\nBBQ Tri-Tip and Hot dog lunch sales will begin at noon.\n\n\n\nPublic tasting\, beer and wine for sale\, arts and crafts\n\nand live music until 6:00 pm.\n\n\n\nIndividual entry fee for Chili $60\, Salsa $40\, both $80.\n\n\n\nBusiness entry fee for Chili $75\, Salsa $60\, both $110.\n\n\n\nFirst prize for best chili is $1000\, and the best salsa is $500.\n\n\n\nSecond and Third prizes will range from $50-$200.\n\n\n\nThis year we will have a People's choice award ranging from $25-$50.\n\n\n\nAll proceeds to benefit the Middletown Senior center.\n\n\n\nFor more information about participation you can call Fletcher Thornton at 707-245-6822.
