DESCRIPTION:This is the Aurora RV Park's third annual Perseid Meteor Shower event\, and it gets better each year. We have educational exhibits\, free use of our kayaks and canoe\, discounted jet ski rides\, food\, drink\, a Perseid Meteor Shower lecture\, an astronomy-related feature film at our outdoor Lakeside Theater\, and - as the grand finale - a spectacular viewing of the Northern Hemisphere's most prolific yearly display of meteors. The viewing this year should be especially good\, since August 12 is only two days after the new moon. Come one and all and enjoy nature's grandest fireworks display.
