DESCRIPTION:This weekend\, from 11:00 to 5:00 each day\, the Lake County Winery Association will sponsor its annual Lake County Wine Adventure. Passport holders are entitled to free wine tastings and other treats at various tasting rooms around the County. Monica and David Rosenthal of the award-winning R VINEYARDS in Middletown will be using the Tallman Hotel garden as their "tasting room" for the weekend. \n\nThe Tallman Hotel is offering a ten percent discount to people holding Wine Adventure passports. Hotel discounts are available only through phone reservations at 707-275-2244 ext. 0. \n\nStart or finish your Wine Adventure at the Tallman. On Saturday evening\, Blue Wing Chef Pablo Aguilar will create three specials designed to pair well with the R Vineyards wines being poured   their lovely 2020 Viognier\, the 2017 Old Vine Zinfandel (double gold at the 2020 Chronicle wine competition) and their 2020 Bordeaux style Red Blend that just won a double gold at the 2023 Chronicle competition!
