DESCRIPTION:The featured speaker will be Karen Sullivan\, former scientific illustrator for Stanford University Medical School and freelance book illustrator. She moved to Lake County in 1990 and has been taking photos of native plants and adding to plant lists around the county. Her talk will focus on the importance of habitat gardening to support local insects\, reptiles and amphibians\, birds and other wildlife. The club will also be putting the final touches on their Mum Show which will be Friday November 8 from Noon until 4 at the Lakeport Yacht Club. Our club welcomes new members.
