YOU are INVITED to come out and party with Middletown for the final FIRST FRIDAYS Community Art (& Shop) Walk of the season this Sept 1, 5-8 with Phoenix Club after party featuring Colby Lee Huston from 8-10 pm.

There is a hub of activity taking place at the MAC (Middletown Art Center) where you will start by picking up your art walk map. While you're there, check out Open Mic, enjoy an organic sourdough pizza from the cob oven at the Farmers' Market and sample Lake County Foodies' finest at the Phoenix Club Potluck Social* (*for members only; you can get a free day membership by bringing a conscious creation to share or complete your art walk). THIS IS A ZERO WASTE event; please bring your own dishes & silverware. Just like the flowers, our artists have come back from the fire with more brilliance than ever. Businesses throughout town will be hosting local artists in their shops for a Community Art Walk from 5-8 pm.

Do the Art Walk around town, grab a bite at participating restaurant offering specials or enjoy the potluck (see below for details), then head back to MAC to cash in your completed map for a free day pass to Phoenix Club in the back of the MAC for the after party and enjoy some great music from Middletown alumni, Colby Lee Huston! Being highly versed on a wide variety of instruments, his compositions are packed with melodies that seem to have been basking in the sun somewhere on a salty beach. His voice is mellow and soulful, yet rich with warmth. His lyrics, full of dreamy sunset-colored imagery. His music a mix of Folk, reggae and soul, that is well blended and refreshing to experience. Calling all FOODIES to prepare your best dish and bring it to the Phoenix Club (at corner lot of Middletown Art Center) on Friday Sept 1from 5-8 pm). Announcing the Phoenix Club Potluck Social hosted by Lake County Organics Plus (LCO+)! Bring your best potluck creation and receive a FREE Day Membership* to Phoenix Club and you will be eligible for one of three PRIZES for best dish! Why is there a membership fee to eat potluck? Would you believe it's illegal to share food with the "public"? Phoenix Club is a food club and a grassroots social networking club to get to know each other and share your gifts!
