Come See What Fall is Bringing to Anderson Marsh State Historic Park Monthly Guided Nature Walks continue at Anderson Marsh State Historic Park. The next scheduled walk is Saturday, October 14th. There will be no tour of the Historic Ranch House Museum in October. Leading the October walk is Park Docent, Certified California Naturalist and AMIA Volunteer Billy Gear who says he “plans to hike the Marsh and Ridge trails, observing autumn.” Bring binoculars and meet in the parking lot at 8:15am for time to experience the early morning wildlife that can be found in the Ranch House and Barn complex yard – the walk will begin at 8:30am. Heavy rain will cancel the walk which begins at 8:30am from the Ranch House parking lot. There is no charge for those attending. Anderson Marsh State Historic Park is located on Hwy 53, between Lower Lake and Clearlake. For more information about the walks, email info@andersonmarsh.org or call (707) 995-2658.
