Anderson Marsh State Historic Park continues to hold monthly guided nature walks. The next walk is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 13th. Following the walk, there will be also be a tour of the Historic Anderson Ranch House. Park Docent, California Naturalist and AMIA Volunteer Henry Bornstein will lead the walk. The walk will explore the Cache Creek Nature Trail, with an option to also explore the Marsh Trail. This is an opportunity to discover the insects, flowers and migrating birds that early autumn is bringing to the Park. Bring binoculars and meet in the Ranch House parking lot at 8:15 am for time to experience the early morning wildlife to be found in the Ranch House and Barn complex yard – the walk will begin at 8:30 am. There is free parking and no charge for those attending. Heavy rain will cancel the walk.
