Description

Hope Rising-SafeRx and Lake County Behavioral Health services are hosting the second annual International Overdose Awareness Day event. The event will be in Keeling Park on Saturday August 27th, from 10AM-3PMThis event aims at reducing stigma, creating conversations around addiction with agencies and community members, training community members in Narcan, and educating on the science of addiction and Lake County substance use data. We also will be giving community members in attendance the opportunity to create a poster to honor the lives of loved ones lost to overdose.
