The new GenX Cinema series presents Stephen King’s IT, the original 1990 production, on Wednesday, September 6 at 7:00 pm at the Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport. Entry is by donation. No host wine and bar will be open; additional refreshments will be on sale at the concession stand including popcorn and candy. This American-Canadian supernatural horror drama, originally produced as a TV miniseries, is directed by Tommy Lee Wallace and adapted by Lawrence D. Cohen from the Stephen King novel. The ensemble cast features Tim Curry as the sadistic, wisecracking clown, Pennywise, with The Lucky Seven kids, who vow to destroy Pennywise, played by Richard Thomas, John Ritter, Annette O'Toole, Harry Anderson, Dennis Christopher, Tim Reid and Richard Masur.
