This event aims to raise awareness surrounding the overdose crisis that faces Lake County. Community members are encouraged to come and help us create poster board headstones to pay tribute to the lives of loved ones that have been lost due to overdose. SafeRx will be providing education on the local crisis, as well as Narcan trainings, a life saving overdose reversal drug. Lake County Behavioral Health and Lake County Tribal Health, alongside other local organizations will be collaborating to provide resources, information on their services, and connection to their services as well. Please email mary@hoperisinglc.org if you would like to participate, honor a loved one, help us plan, or have any questions or concerns! NOTES regarding Safety and COVID: Outdoor events have a lower risk of COVID spread. We will follow all other safety precautions including those listed below. 1. We will have a shorter time of speakers and performers to lessen the risks of gathering in one area. 2. All attendees must wear masks. 3. Please maintain 6' distance from yourself and others not in your household. 4. We will have hand sanitizer and extra masks on hand.
