As Halloween approaches, kids start dreaming of endless mountains of candy and fun costumes, while parents think about how to keep their Trick or Treaters safe from harm as they roam the neighborhood streets. U.S. Cellular has some tips on how to use smartphones to boost Halloween safety and make it fangtasticly fun. In addition to important safety apps, there are some frighteningly good apps that adults can download to become more creative and better ghostbusters at the same time. U.S. Cellular will host a Device Workshop at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 22nd at 14896 Olympic Dr. Clearlake, CA 95422, to find creative ideas for costumes, get Halloween-themed cooking and decorating inspiration, elevate photos, and even keep tabs on kids as they Trick or Treat. This free event is open to the public. For more information about the workshop, please call 707-995-1263. “Halloween is a family-favorite holiday, and U.S. Cellular has ideas on how to use your smartphone – like the iPhone 8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 to help make it safer for everyone,” said Erryn Andersen, director of sales for U.S. Cellular in the northwest. “At Halloween – and throughout the year – U.S. Cellular’s reliable network makes it easier than ever to access and share information and engage in fun, enriching activities with family members.” About U.S. Cellular U.S. Cellular is the fifth-largest full-service wireless carrier in the United States, providing national network coverage and industry-leading innovations designed to elevate the customer experience.
