Join us for the opening reception of MAC’s new exhibit WATER this Saturday, March 14, from 6 to 8pm. Water is life. Vital to all organisms, its quality and availability have environmental, social, and economic impacts. Elemental, water is also symbolic and poetic. Water quality and availability remain among the defining challenges of our time, as climate shifts, drought, scarcity, overuse, and pollution raise urgent questions of health, safety, sustainability, and survival. The exhibition features works by new and returning artists in a variety of media reflecting on water and our relationship to this essential shared resource. Join us for the opening or visit Thursday–Monday, 10:30–5.
