DeWitt & Willis at Tallman Concert with Conversation

The Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake sponsors a winter/spring series of informal “Concerts with Conversation” in the Meeting House next to the hotel.  An eclectic group of top notch musicians enjoy playing before an intimate and appreciative audience of 40 or so guests in this room with outstanding acoustics.  Coffee and cookies are served to guests.  Tickets at $25 plus tax can be purchased by calling the Hotel at (707) 275-2244 ext. 0. Tonight we feature the “Queen of Boogie Woogie” herself, Wendy DeWitt together with the lively blues and boogie pianist from San Francisco, Steve Willis (see photo).  Steve and Wendy go way back and should have some interesting stories to tell.  Steve not only plays but reconditions top-end pianos and video clips will be shown of some of this work – and the piano christening parties that take place when the work is completed.  Should be great fun.
