Description
This BBQ Cook-off is the major fundraiser for the Westside Community Park Committee. The Cook-off features tastings from the grillers along with sides of beans, salad, desserts and a bottle of water. Additional water, beer from O'Meara Brothers, wine from Thorn Hill and Shannon Ridge Wineries, soft drinks and snow cones are available for purchase.
Attendees vote for their Favorite Griller, the Best Decorated Booth and Favorite Car in the People Choice awards.
This year's Celebrity Judges: Sheriff Brian Martin; retired 49er & Raider defensive tackle, Dana Stubblefield and Luis Castelero, a veteran of the restaurant business in the Bay Area will select their Favorite Griller and the Rookie of the Year award.
Other hightlights include music by the LC Diamonds, a Car Show, Giant Slip 'n Slide and Beach Handball demonstration. There is plenty of food, shade and good times.
