Ranell Carpenter is a singer and songwriter from the Sierra foothills, a rising talent with smoldering vocals and roots in soul, blues and country. Born and raised in the small town of Placerville California, she grew up in a loving family, riding horses and participating in competitive sports year round. Her love of singing evolved when she was 17 years old, though she had written lyrics and poetry her whole life. After the loss of her father in 2010, Ranell dove head first into singing and landed herself the position as lead singer for the Ice House Blues Band. The band played in and around the foothills area for several years as Ranell built a following and explored the blues genre. Her journey with the Ice House Blues Band left her a strong platform on which to build her music career. Ranell window AutoRanell performs with many experienced and talented musicians from in and around the Sacramento area. While delivering a dazzling performance of blues based rock, soul and R&B, Ranell pours her heart and soul in to every show.
