RESTORE: Felt Sculpture
Description
Join us at MAC for a felt sculpture workshop with local artist and instructor, Alana Clearlake. Sculptural felt pieces are made with wool and sometimes include silk, flax, bamboo, and other effect fibers. They begin flat, with the hair laid out covering a resist on both sides and color is infused with needles. Suitable for all ages 12 and up, and all levels of expertise, from newbies to professional artists.
