Description
The Soper Reese Theatre introduces a new band from the Oakland area at the Third Friday Live concert on Friday, November 18, at 7:00 pm. Imagine a tuba and sousaphone version of "Worth It" and you'll get the idea behind this eclectic brass ensemble. They do a danceable mash up of blues, Dixieland, and jazz. Come and check out their debut performance in Lake County. All seats $15. Dance floor open. The four-man band formed in 2015 after marching together in the Carnival Parade in San Francisco’s Mission District, and they recently played at the Oakland Jazz Festival. Band members are Randy Johnson on saxophone, Jordan Nadell on sousaphone, Tom Dreiman on drums, and Noah Ortiz on bass trombone. Tickets available online at SoperReeseTheatre.com or at The Travel Center, Monday-Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 pm. The Travel Center is at 1265 S. Main, Lakeport, 707-263-3095. Tickets also available at the door beginning two hours before show time. The theatre is located at 275 S. Main, Lakeport, 707-263-0577. Major sponsor is Strong Financial Network.
