Description
Lake County Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you and your employees/volunteers to attend this Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drug (LEAD) seminar presented by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control on April 20, 2017 from 8:30am to 12:30pm at the Theater Building, Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin Street in Lakeport. This is a partnership with the Lakeport Police Department and sponsored in part by the Lake County Fairgrounds.
The Chamber believes all non-profits who put on events at which they serve alcohol should send someone to this seminar to protect your organizations.
Note: All organizations/entities renting at the Fairgrounds and serving alcohol will be required to have a person on site who has a current ABC LEADS certificate.
The LEAD seminar will give you:
- Information on:
- the best way to check I.D.
- how to refuse service
- signs and prevention of illicit drug activity
- and more
- The facts about your criminal, civil, and ABC liability
- An update on California alcohol laws
- Helpful handouts
